Mr. Val
Hundaloo learned about jumping the other day and he has so many interesting ideas about it! You can see in the video how he pokes the bar with his nose when he is on my left. But he seemed happy to try the new 'trick' and he is wanting to work with me more and more.
Liz made a funny comment about his name when I told her it was Hunda she said, "yeah, 'cause that's original" and she paused and she said "Hunda, first name Val" and then she called him Mr. Val the rest of the time I was there. Ha ha ha! I LOVE it! Mr. Val. And Daisy likens Hunda to a chicken, offering behaviors and if not rewarded moving on to something else. Mr. Val Hunda, the dog with the superpowers of a chicken.
Almost half done with Snuff and I love it.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE! HEART HEART HEART HEART!
Found a worm yesterday in some cooked salmon. Harmless but kind of gross. I think there is way more random stuff in our food then we reallly know about or care to know about. I always use the allowed amount of rat poop in cocoa beans when I teach parts per million to my students. But I don't tell them about it until after they have all been offered and are chewing on a nice piece of Dove chocolate...

Nooooo
No, no, no. Mr. Val sounds too much like a hairdresser . Hunda is too manly a man-dog to be a Mr. Val.
Energetic little bugger. He goes non stop like a toddler on too much sugar !
Coulda done without having to think about worms in my salmon - or half worms (gag). Did it make you hurl??
Oh yeah, just FYI for the
Yum!
Hunda is like a chicken in
Hunda is like a chicken in that he is fast, but chickens aren't terribly creative, which makes it easier to train them, as long as you are quick enough :-) Hunda is more creative than a chicken, which makes things more difficult, because he will try to get creative and offer tons of behaviors very quickly. It's hard not to laugh at them! :-)
